Our Big Adventure!

Sophie and I flew to Cincinnati to visit the Chris, Jim and ZZ (Elizabeth) and EE (Ethan). She actually did pretty good on the plane rides, and was actually really good on the trip. She loved playing with the kids and the constant attention. We got to see a lot of family, and did plenty of eating, especially my favorites Dewey's and Graters and we even got some shopping in. It was really fun to get away and spend time with our friends.

Sophie's 2 favorite things in life!

Sophie has two favorite things in life right now Elmo and Dum Dum Suckers. I think I give in too easily when she so sweetly demands a sucker and says please, and then searches through my purse to find one. They are really meant only for bribery and /or a special treat, but sometimes I can not deny that cute little face. The dentist will not be so happy with us. Luckily she is not a fan of all flavors and throws the ones she does not like after about 3 licks. Elmo is having a bit of competition with the Wiggles, lately she rather see the 4 jolly men singing and dancing instead of the cute red monster.

Sophie's New Hair Style

Sophie's hair is long enough to try a new style. The bows needed a short rest. It is not an easy task to make a straight part on a wiggly 20 month old, I still need a bit of practice. She loves to go to the mirror and check herself out with her pigtails.

Holiday Fun

I love my new baby!

Sophie favorite Chanukah gift was her Bitty Baby from Nana and Pa, which we just call "Baby" for now. She is very sweet to her, kisses her, tries to change her diaper, and feeds her. Or sometimes she is left face down on the floor of wherever she lands. Today she picked up a book and took "Baby" to her chair and was reading to her.
